Spring! but no cute daffodil pics here.
How do WE know it's spring?
We notice Pipi the cat is back on market garden rabbit patrol. Shhhh.
A loud and raucous paradise duck pair dominates the airwaves. They're protecting their nests. Hands on ears!
There's evidence uninvited mice have nibbled on sunflower shoots. Let's up the baitstationing. Sorted.
Late morning during harvest, we dash inside to throw on some shorts. Legs out. Zip.
We spot snails recklessly out in the open in the daylight. Fools. Crunch.
Admiringly, indomitable frost-knocked nasturtiums resprout. Thumbs up.
Is there green in the paddocks? Yep.
And … thank goodness … more lettuces to harvest - and a zillion viola faces unfold in the gusty spring wind. Bring it on.
